\”I never quite understand the way society decides who is beautiful and who is not. But an open face and a capacity for kindness always feel like reliable signifiers to me.\” – Tilda Swinton

What a lovely way to define beauty.

We should hold that in our thought each day. How can we be kind? How we ensure our face is open and receptive to each person who comes across our path? That means we are being an open, kind, positive leader and person.

You don\’t have to wait.

Each one of us has the capability to be beautiful…  Be so today.

Katherine Mathilda \”Tilda\” Swinton, born on November 5,1960, is a British actress and model known for both art house and mainstream films. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and Volpi Cup Best Actress. Swinton began her career in London theaters performing Shakespearean plays. Her big screen debut arrived in Derek Jarman\’s Caravaggio in 1986. Despite her draw to independent art house films, Swinton has worked on several commercial projects such as playing the White Witch in the popular 2005 movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

In 2013, Swinton was named as one of the fifty best-dressed over 50s by The Guardian, and is recognizable by her unique pale-skinned white-haired haute couture look. She lives in Nairn, Scotland with her twins, Honor and Xavier, and partner Sandro Kupp. Interestingly, she was classmate and friend to Princess Diana growing up. Recently, she has garnered much attention for her role and makeover in the critically-acclained film Trainwreck with Amy Schumer.
